Re: WTB: 10 bolt in any condition

why not go with a 4th gen ls1 rear since you have corvette rims. I picked up my rear with 3:42 rears for 300

What gear ratio is in your nine bolt, does it have disks, and is the posi still functional?

I have a ten bolt under my car right now (drum rear and IIRC 3.23 gear ratio, worn out posi). I am building the car for road racing or auto X and really need something with disks and a good posi.

Let me know if you would be interested in a trade

I have one for sale.

Price: Come and get it.

I guess i'm confused. Why would you go from a 9 bolt to a 10 bolt?

I am keeping the disc brakes, it's a 2.77 posi still in good shape. Would need the 9 bolt under my car until the ten bolt is built and ready to go though...

Have you ever searched for parts for a 9 bolt? There are none. A ten bolt can be built to handle A LOT more power than a 9 bolt can.
