Need Some Help

Hey Everyone

i was wondering if i could get some expect advice on what to do or to point me to the direction i could get my problem fix to..
okay here i go

About three weeks ago my auto transmission was giving up after 15 years of service (i was there when my dad change it)
anyways i had a T5 that i told off a 83 Camaro LG4 in the junkyard that i decided to have it installed...
okay so here goes the problem, as having the transmission install and had some work done to it, the check engine light came on... at first i though it was the neutral switch that goes on the side of the auto shifter because it was not install.. so i installed it and the check engine came up on still..

So i decided to check the codes with a paper clip.
here are the codes that came on
Code 24- vehicle speed sensor
Code 34- Differential Pressure sensor

I have a 84 Camaro with a LG4 (305)/T5

I need to know what i can do, someone told me i need to get a chip from a camaro with a LG4 5 speed but i not sure if it is true.

Can someone help me out, since i am gonna do smog by the end of the year and the check engine light is not gonna help me out in anyway..

Re: Need Some Help

Have you replaced those two sensors before?
Most the time when you have check engine light for sensors, it's that they need replacing.

Re: Need Some Help

Your not going to have any luck at the junk yard, there is no longer hardly any thirdgen's out there. You year would be much harder to find. You have to check out the dealer and spend the big dollar they are now, or try to find one here on thirdgen, or some place like House of Camaro, that should be in the sticky in So Ca area.

Try to reset those codes one more time, you mean you have to swap for a t-5 chip? I never heard of that, just not sure.
