There's a Greek diner on Atlantic Ave and about 36th Street in Bixby Knolls near where I used to live. It's a fairly upscale area, and has a a good menu, cheap prices, outdoor tables and a large parking lot. I'll get more info and post a bit later today.

Yeah, that's the place. I used to hang out there a lot when I lived a couple blocks away.

Re: long beach meet

Hey mike thats a cool idea that u wanna make a chapter for cali generalz i will defenately attend the meets any ideas for the 1st meet or what u thinking of doing....

Also J.r there isnt really alot of ppl who are that interested in attending meetings. Ive seen alot of 3rd genz around some beat up onez n some nice ones and when i drive the 3rd gen and ask ppl if they would like to attend one they just look at me like if i was stupid and they say no thanks n act like if they car is the s*** u know. I say who cares if there is only a few ppl attending our meets valentin already knows lets just keep on going with what we have sooner or later more will come to us as long as we keep having meets in big local places well get ppl interested....

Also greek food sounds good lol

Re: long beach meet

Mike, I think doing a LB chapter for Cali Generalz is a good idea, and if the day is rite I will be there to support but it will depend on the day for me since I am working night plus overtime..

Also on the meeting date I still deciding on what day it will be... I was think the 2nd week of Oct because SC3G will be having their meeting on the frist Saturday of the month of Oct, plus some of the member will be working on their cars on the end of the month and I am also thinking of redoing my front end suspension so I will be out until the beginning of Oct (so I think)..
Also I would like to have the meeting on Friday night since it seem for me a good way to end the week (well for some of us)

Also yeah I know what Tony (LBRS) is talking about on how we try tell other ppl about our meeting and they seem like they are not interested but hey it is their choices but we more then welcome any camaro and firebird to our meeting... recently last week I met another member on this board and he told me he is driving a fourth gen and so do his friend, and I told him it is all about the cars no matter what camaro or firebird u drive we are all family here, we try to help each other out in anyway possible.. and if u want to come to the mmeting so have a fun day everyone is welcome..

Also on a cruise.. I have a few request on a cruise to have.. since I though the LB was a chapter I was wrong... we are the Los Angeles area chapter so I guess our area kinda extend alittle but still I will have meeting here in LB but if anyone wants to have a criuse we can do one, just have to let me know and see if everyone else wants to be part of it... that way I can set one up...

Also for this meeting I will call Jr to see if we can go to set up the meeting in Georgies since it looks like we will be meeting there.... that way I don't have to go to LA to get Gyro Sandwich.. ha ha ha

Re: long beach meet

yeah i know when i went over to his house yesterday i told Tony about it and he was oh s*** that Omar and i told him yup..
i think it is because of the user names that for some of us is kinda hard to put a face to them, well some of them until u see the cars..

funny thing i was cruising around LB on Friday night and i went through Pine street in downtown, and i gotta say that would be very nice to have a cruise going through there, even though i was by myself, and i was getting some attention by some of the people (especially the girls coming out from the club ) i have to say during the night and after i gave my car a wax it looked sick and with the HID in the front and dark taillights and the dark tint... man it look very nice...
i still say to myself i should of said something to the girls (man they look awesome )

Hey wuzup guys,

Thanks man yeah i think it will be a good idea to start expanding the club, i had talk to some of my club members and they like the idea, also they are going to be voting me in on the Council so i am happy about that. Not i can put alot of my ideas into play. Well for the LB area meet i am not to sure yet just because i need to know what all the members think.

I am thinking something in the lines of a BBQ at park. get to know one other, play some sports hand out take some pictures and go for a little drive before or after not sure yet. I dont know i need to put something together once i know for sure.

Well that sucks to hear that people are shutting you guys down. But thats good you guys are trying. I really havent had that problem when it comes to that. I think i will have a good chance on getting some nice cars. I am not going to only focus on 3rd gens I am also not going to be just looking for anyone. I am going to be looking for nice cars, kool people and that dedication or will power for fixing up there rides. If i see someone that have potential then i offer them to come check us out, check out are website and join in on are forums for we can get to know them and to see if they want to join us on some of are meetings and events. This is also a good way to see what kind of person they are. We dont want stupid people that will give the club a bad name or rep. If i dont see them interested i dont give them a card or offer them to check us out.

Well i keep you guys posted and let you know whats going on.

-Mike

yeah i went to see a friend that lives by the mall
yeah i know, i have to fix my springs that i currently have in my car.. i was able to get my lower spring from my other house up in the mountains now i can start cleaning up some use a arms that i got and then add a shot of paint and then have the new parts install... i am thinking of doing the work either this Sunday or the next because i am starting to feel that my car looks worster every time since idk why but it is getting higher from the front.. hopefully i can get it fix prior to the LB meet that is coming up since i am doing all the work myself but the good thing is that i got mostly all the tool need to do the job (so i think lol)
also how was the show over in riverside... my friend Tony and I were thinking of going with your crew but i have to fix up my bug project and it took most of my time and i started around 7am

El Dorado park is a hugh park. Lots of people go there for bbq's and family time. Parking can be a big pain. Theres another park close by. It's called Wardlow park. Off Clark and Wardlow. It's on Wardlow between Clark & Bellflower. There's usually plenty of bbq space and Parking on the south side of the park. Plus you can play ball or whateva you feel like. O, and it's quiet as well. lol!

I would be interested in taking part of the long beach meet i normally dont drive my iroc anymore i been paying insurance and tags for a year and havent moved it really much. I only have the month october to drive it since thats when my tags go out and i am not sure if i wont to go throught the process of smogging under table and paying for the plates to have sit for another 2 years. But i definetly would like to pull out 4 a lil before it becomes Non Op.

I hope the guy brings a camaro and don't bring a mustang like the owner from Frisco since he though it was a Mustang meet but he was wrong

Hope to see everyone there this Friday at 7pm at the meeting spot
