Yeah, I got really frustrated when I heard this earlier this week. Just last year a bill was proposed to ban the color black on cars because it stood behind the premise that they absorb more heat than lighter colored cars, therefore, the driver will need more fuel to get around while trying to stay cool with the A/C on. Pure asinine. Their plan is to eradicate the automobile. They're radical "global warming" fanatics backed by a very liberal legislature. It's a lose lose situation for California.

Wow... it is just crazy the way they are trying to run this state..
Also Miguel I didn't know that they try to ban black paint on car.. wow.. all my cars are black (expect for my truck)..

My question to politicians is; "The interstate hwy system was built when tax freedom day was in March. Now tax freedom day is in late May headed for June and we don't have the money to fix our roads. Maybe we are spending in the wrong places."
A mileage tax isn't any more fair as you pay by gallons used now. And the trucking industry, with their political power today, would end up paying the same cents/mile that our cars do.
