Failed smog. could use pointers
failed my smog but it was just the HCs on both 15 and 25 mph test.
tech told me to get cat swapped out and the maf aswell. before i go that route i wanna see if anyone could spot things on the print out that could tell me what sorts of fixing i need.
i passed last year around march with everthing it had with the exception of a cold air intake retrofitted with the stuff from the stock one ie: sensonrs and such and a new magnaflow exhaust. old one was rusted out and it passed oddly enough. i didnt think i needed to seafoam it since i had a top end rebuilt a month ago. i drove around in it for around 10 miles before i went to the station. to get it warm.
so with that should i put the old intake on and try again?? or what else should i try. i have only like a week to do it since my tags technically expire on the 18th.

Just pay the registration so you won't get late fees and you will have more time to figure out the smog issues.

I can do that? last year when i tried that they said they needed the smog certificate to be able to register it. other then that they didnt let me pay anything until the smog was submitted

Yes you can. I did it in January. I know of several people that have done it. You just won't get the sticker, but at least you won't have late fees.
