hub modification for ls1 brake

hub modification for ls1 brake

anybody know any shops in los angeles or san diego area that can machine my hubs for ls1 brakes ?

called many shops in san diego no sucess

Id say buy them, I milled mine and will never do it any more it took to long! I hated it! IF I ever were to do it again Id charge big$$$$$ lol

Have you tried any CNC machine shops, not just automotive machine shops? Easy work for them provided that you already know the final diameter that you are looking for to tell them.

Or even better....Supply them with LS1 rotors for them to physically measure for themselves & to verify the fit before they give the new hubs to you.

I just bought the kit from http://www.bigbrakeupgrade.com/. They came ready to go, calipers, rotors and pads, everything had been modded

I know about Scott at bigbrake I have everything I just need hub and bracket Im going to go to him but wanted to see if I can get it done this weekend but Ive decided to just go thru with Scott and wait couple days

I spent over 6 hours (over two days) cutting the "rotors" off and milling the hubs on my brake lathe. IF i ever I ever do it again I'll buy a set of hubs pre-made just so I don't have to deal with it again, good choice zachary3 on waiting I only wish I did.
