No I haven't fixed the hatch latches yet...you still willing to help me with it? I've got a few leads here on the forums from sellers parting out their cars...but none of them have come through for me yet. I've found some on ebay for $40 used and in good condition.

lol...what junk yards are around in OC? I really don't know of any, as I have not owned an older car for quite some time, any that are decent that you can recommend?

First auction looks good, really straight.Send me a PM when you get them.I should be around that weekend.There are two pick your part in OC.One is off beach, on Katella & the other is about two miles away on beach/ball road.I usually go on 50% off days.Not too many 3rd gens to find there anymore.

Don't worry too much about cost, 99% of the time the JY pieces are busted/missing or bent.Ive maybe seen two sets in all the years ive been going that weren't tweaked.Thats why I didn't mention going, but they would be cheap though.

Found this old photo of my '83 F bodies. Z/28 in the driveway obviously, it was upgraded to a 350 and in the garage was my '83 T/A 305 CFI, red with t-tops.

Now, I am trying to find a picture of my 1970 Firebird 400...another car I wish I still had.

I searched the LP numbers, last time the Camaro was smogged was in 2003 and no records found on the Trans am...if I could find them I would buy them back in a second, but I don't have the VIN's so not sure how I would do that.

A big THANK YOU to 84 1LE for helping me install my new hatch hinges today, now my rear hatch is aligned near perfect, and looks SO much better than before. Definitely a 2 man job, that rear hatch glass is heavy! We had to adjust the rear latch also, as it was aligned to align with the crooked hatch!
Now I can sleep better at night knowing my hatch is aligned properly and has decent hinges in it.

He also helped me identify some other missing parts on my car, small stuff I would never had noticed myself, and he even had a few of those plastic caps/covers parts laying around in his garage he put on my car for me. Lots of non-original screws, and missing and replaced by whatever bolts/Screws the previous owner found laying around that would fit in the holes.
But anyways, my project begins, and having fun in the process!
