T5 transmission replace help
I have a 1988 convertible with the base 305 V8 and a 5-speed manual with 204K miles on it. transmission is grinding bad in 4th gear. any advice on "where" to go? I'd probably prefer to buy a rebuilt tranny rather than trying to fix it. I live in Santa Clarita, near Magic Mountain. any recommendations? I'd hate to go to "just any" transmission shop.
