You ain't the only one. Hopefully I can get my car road ready for the summer. I got replacement stock calipers as I have no time or funds to go for my planned big brakes upgrade. The rebuilt carb by Sean Murphy Induction is still working fantastic. Cold start just requires one pump on the pedal and turn the key. I am looking into going either back to my factory 14" aluminum wheels or 15" Z28/RS wheels as I still have some rubbing issues with the Ronal R15's that I cannot resolve until I do the big brake upgrade and the lower A arms.

Id stick with at least the 15" wheels, you'll never get the bigger brakes to fit with 14s.

 

I've looked around for the 15's and they seem to go for a good price than the 16's from what I've seen. And that's for a set that needs to be refurbished.

 

How about repros.

 

You know, I saw that they have them. I wonder who manufactures the reproductions?

 

Probably OER or maybe Hawks does too.

 

I really do need to paint my car before investing in other things too.

Not yet. I can't afford a proper paint job taking the entire car apart at the moment. Probably a MAACO deal for the time being so as not to look at the clear coat disaster.
