Back on the road again...
I spent my Saturday repairing my brake system. Installed a new custom made steel braided body-to-axle line that uses my factory fittings. This one is more stout and should hold up better. While I was at it I decided to flush the system and refilled it with new Valvoline SynPower brake fluid. The pedal feel is really good and this stuff has a slightly higher boiling point.
This whole thing also gave me a chance to finally install the custom steel braided line I had made a while back for the right rear wheel. I can at last change the rear pads on my car without disconnecting the brake line.
Also, a huge thanks to Nick. Nick loaned me a couple wheels off his CMC car so I could pull all four wheels off mine and run them to America's Tire and get my new BFG G-Force tires installed.
So, I now have a complete steel braided brake line system and new rolling rubber. Now I just need to give the GTA a bath.
Whose up for a canyon run?!
