Good morning,

Do you have this for sale still? If so, can the chromed tip be purchased? Thank you in advance,

Re: Borla Exhaust 82-02 Camaro/Firebird

Is that the original setup, or was that passenger's side pipe added on? I don't see how that pipe has any muffling at all.

Thats how the Borla kits were for 3rd and 4th gen cars. Has a 3 bolt flange and different “restrictor” plates you can sandwich in between. Anywhere from completely closed (to direct through muffler) or wide open 👍🏻

Re: Borla Exhaust 82-02 Camaro/Firebird

Im just thinking in my mind only half the exhaust gets to the muffler? Never seen such a setup but that's the way it came as shown in this pic. My Borla had a different setup may have been a custom job.

Re: Borla Exhaust 82-02 Camaro/Firebird

That's weird. I currently have a Borla muffler on my '92 T/A (but not for much longer). IIRC, it has the standard one in/two out configuration. Just thought that one looked off to me. GLWS.

That’s why Borla has the million mile warranty!!

Don’t quote me on this but I think Borla may have offer a kit in that configuration, perhaps it could have been fabbed. I installed a Borla 3” in dual 2 1/2” out on a 93 V8 Dakota I had sans cat, that was one of my favorite sounding mufflers I’ve had on anything

Edit - Is the muffler in good shape? I may be interested in it if so

Yes, the muffler is in good shape from what I remember. It's still on the car for now, it will be coming off shortly after I get the car back together and running correctly. PM me if you are serious and we can work something out.

Wasn’t any attempt to steal a thread. Just discussing the product for sale. I simply mentioned keeping me in mind for his if he removes it and wanted to ship a muffler. I’d potentially be interested in yours but I’m in Illinois and you are in California, too many paces there for me 😬

Wasn't trying to steal your post. That's why, if you'll notice, I told him to PM me instead of continuing on your thread because I understand how things work on here. Also, take a gander to the left and you'll notice I have nearly 2,000 posts. You are correct. They aren't hard at all.

Re: Sold

Congrats on your sale. See, all your bitterness for nothing. Plus, if you'll go back and look, I never offered my muffler for sale. I was making a comment about how yours looked different than mine and that I was removing mine. Hence, when he asked about mine I told him to PM me instead of hijacking your thread. Not to mention that he and I or you and I posting on here only serves to keep your sale add up at the top of the New Posts thereby only serving to help you sell yours. No need to get pissy.
