Where is this ESC (knock module) located

I thought I knew what it was but now I'm not sure any more.

I'm suppose to replace my knock sensor and Electronic spark control from my 305 to a 350 for better knock control on my new larger motor.

I know the knock sensor that plugs into my engine but I don't know where this ESC is located.

Help?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the part numbers are:
knock sensor - 10456288

ESC - 16128261

The ESC is a flat square unit on the driver's side engine compartment by the fan relays. It has a large 5 wire plug going into it. You dont have to change it, just the knock sensor.

But the part numbers are different between a 305 and 350.

305
Knock sensor - 10456287
ESC module - 16126761

350
Knock sensor - 10456288 $40.35
ESC module - 16128261 $74.19

If your experience says they work then I'll go with it.
The knock sensor is the cheaper one too.
