Re: Check This Out! Tire Plug Repair Kit
HIGHLY RECOMENDED
1st story driving from Fl to NM had a screw in the tire pulled it out plugged it never had another issue 75k more miles on that plug
Wifes car got a screw she never knew I went out saw it low pulled the screw and filled it back up before she even got out the door maybe 5 min tops
Same as before left to go to work tire was flat found the screw plugged it filled it and wasnt even late
Inlaws were visiting I was at work I came home saw thier tire was flat they were at lunch with my wife I found the nail plugged it and filled it ate and went back to work they didnt even know I was home and were trying to figure out how to get the tire off to get it fixed so they wouldnt bother me (LOL) then discovered it was fixed
I have put tens of thousands of miles on these plugs never had to redo or replace because of
TIPS
1. always have a leatherman or some kind of multitool in the car to pull the obstruction out
2. go light I mean very light on the rubber cement if its a very small hole none at all
3. in and out with the reemer once or twice dont hit it like a physco in a bad movie
Every vehicle I own has a kit and I have a few in the garage they are life savers and I used to work at a tire place in highschool and its what they use for small holes that arent bad

Re: Check This Out! Tire Plug Repair Kit
My wife got a roofing nail in the right rear of the Jeep last year. Brought it to the local tire store, that refused to use one of these plugs. Instead they pulled the tire off of the rim and plugged it from the inside.
After 3 weeks the plug they used let go. They tried to plug it again using an inside plug. Same thing happened, after a month it let go and it ruined my tire.
These plugs work 1000X better. I've used them on a ton of vehicles. I'm grabbing one myself to keep in the Jeep.
I have even used them on my ATV, and it lasted the life of the tire.

the patch plug from the inside is as good as the person putting it on too ill give it a 60 40 chance it will be good or not done right its great but same goes for these and the fact you can do it on the side of the road in 5 min or less is a plus for me

yeah but on the side of the road in bumfunk no where how well can you do a patch kit
good to have on you especially where I am in NM there are roads that dont have anything for hours on end its a good thing to have this and a small plug in compressor
