Hey Guys,
I noticed the other day that my Kenny Brown STB is just barely touching my TPI intake plenum. I have an 87 Z28 with a 305. I can sometimes feel alot of vibration from the steering wheel. Should I put something under the mounts of the STB to raise it up some?
Thanks in advance.

You might want to shim it with some stainless steel washers to give you more clearance.
That's why I went with the Hotchkis STB. The height is adjustable and it will also clear the SuperRam when the time comes.

I agree with Bret that large diameter washers ought to shim it up nicely.
Thanks guys.
I went ahead and place some large washers under the mounts on the strut towers. This was exactly what I needed to do. I no longer hear an annoying vibration. I appreciate you guys taking the time to respond to my question.

My Jamex STB is adjustable to avoid this problem. If it was almost touching the TPI when it was just sitting, I can only imagine what it was doing when the motor was torqueing, bumps, cornering, etc!
