WS6 caliper question
WS6 caliper question
I just took all the suspension off of an 88 Formula with WS6 and put everything even the rear axle on my 84 T/A. after getting everything all hooked and bolted up the car pulls pretty good to the right when you hit the brakes. I assume it has a stuck or bad caliper on the drivers side. I saw a caliper on Ebay that was off of another formula so I asked the seller if it was a WS6 car .he said it was but that the calipers on WS6 cars are no diff than a regular satndard v8 car. I thought that WS6 calipers and rotors were def bigger, am I wrong??? if so I will replace the bad caliper with the one I just took off of the car. I know everyone will say just look at the calipers and see if they are diff sizes. I will this wkend I think but I have kids and don't get as much time to play in the garage as I would like.

Did you replace the flex hoses that goes to the calipers? If you didn't, I suggest you do. It can colapse and cause poor braking. Also, You might as well take get a pair of rebuilt calipers... they are $12 each from most auto parts stores.
Andy is right. Only the 1LE front brakes are bigger/better. WS6 is a suspension and rims package.
