replacing drum with disc brakes...opinions?

i'm thinking about taking some disc brakes from an iroc and putting them in place of the rear drum brakes on my z28. has anyone tried this before or if not does anyone know if it is a real problem. i don't want to have to change the brake lines but i think i might go ahead and do it anyways, though i've heard thats a real hassle.

Welcome to the boards!!

Are you refering to swapping the axle or just the brakes? Depending how comfortable with tools and your car depends on your best route. Since it sounds like you are new to modifying your car I would suggest a complete axle swap. Depending on the gear ratio you have, it could also make the car a little more "peppy".

If you are certain you want to put disc brakes on your drum axle, check out this site: www.omega185.cz28.com
