Redoing rear suspension questions?
I am going to be redoing the suspension on my 84 z28 in a few
weeks and I just have a few questions.
These are my plans:
Eibach Pro-Kit
KYB GR2 struts and Gas-a-just shocks
Spohn adj. lower control arms with poly bushings
Spohn adj. panhard bar with poly bushings
Spohn lower control arm relocation brackets
Polished 91 z28 16" rims with Kumho 255/50/16's
Future:
Either Spohn or BMR front and rear sway bars
Spohn subframe connectors when available
Now the questions I have are, does any one have an 82-84 z28
that they installed the eibach prokit springs on. How much did
they lower it and do you have any pictures. I know it should
be about 1/2 an inch to a inch but I'm just curious.
Also, I have read on here that some people advise agains't using
tubular lower control arms verse boxed for street use. Some
have said that the tubular ones are more prone to bending and
breaking from street use. Since, my car is primarily a street car
I just want to here some other peoples experiences before I
invest all of this money.
Thank you for all replies and feedback.

I'm the guy that has had tubular parts break on the street ( and track, but that doesn't count). If you use them, inspect them weekly. I've had three different tubular components break on me in my life. Now when I buy them I take them down to a shop to have them gusseted and magniflux for safety. A good friend of mine is the Pres. of the Sheet Metals Union and owns his own metal fabrication corp. He has his employees take care of my needs.

Here's a little FYI. I'm all for Spohn parts, but I'm all for saving $$$$ too. Check this link out for a BMR LCA and panhard rod group purchase:
