I have an 84 i just dropped a 383 in and it now goes quite well. Its time to make it turn quite well. My question is this, about ten years ago i modified my brothers 84 HO with a guldstrand kit, the mid level one. It handled great but rode like crap, now its a flexiflyer rattle trap. My car has too many rattles to begin with and i live in the NY tri state area so i drive over a lot of bumps. I don't want to sacrifice handling over bumps for smooth road performance, and i don't want to wear out the cars chassis by flexing the crap out of it.

What shocks give the best bump compliance while maintaining responsive handling?
I'm lookking at bilstein, koni, and tokico

what SFC's give the best stiffness inprovement?

does a Strut tower brace help that much?

who makes slightly lower and stiffer springs or a complete package based on my criteria?

may your experience save me money.

Shocks - I hear a lot of good reviews on the Bilstein's & Koni's. I went with the KYB GR2 struts for the front & the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks for the rear.
SFC's - Spohn is suppose to be good, but the last time I checked they are still not available. I went with the Kenny Brown SFC's which IMO is awesome, it really tightened up the chasis.
STB's - I have the Edelbrock STB and it really helps tighten up the front end.
Springs - The Eibach Pro kit will lower your car 1 - 1 1/2 inches, I just went with the stock replacement springs from Moog because I did not want to lower my RS
