Is it normal for body sag when car is jacked up on all fours?
My driver and passenger door are hard to close when the car is jacked. The stands are at the front of the frame and at the rear axel. Ive been doing heavy body work, and the car has been jacked for over a month. Is it normal for a sag that puts the drivers door out about 1/2 inch. It wont close unless I lean on the back of the door. Or I jack the car a little from the forward cross member. It worries me a little. Everything is fine when the car sits on all four tires.
Thanks

Yup, basically inevitable on these cars. Like the other post said subframe connectors help out alot. Otherwise, don't do that to your car if you can avoid it, it's real stressful.

I was told by several people, 2 of which are professional body workers, they all said on camaros especialy t-top or convertables never, ever, ever open the doors if the car isnt sitting on the wheels because it can cause serious problems in the door hinges and various other things. I got around the problem by making large wooden boxes that I slide under all 4 wheels when I jack it up. Works great, car is up higher, much more stable than jack stands, no jack stands in the way..... If anyone is interested I could try and take a picture of one of them.
