Brake Set Up Question?!?!? Help
Brake Set Up Question?!?!? Help
Ok here is the situation:
I am presently working on my project car. Its an 88 GTA hard top. The motor is a 350 w/LT4 hot cam brand new exhaust w/ headers. Engine was rebuilt. Runs beautifully. ok here is the question. The front disc brakes are 1LE (was put on by previous owner) rear disc are the stock disc setup. I have the 1Le's for the back and just wondering if i qould need to put them on the back. I am sure i would stop fine without them but would like some recommendations. I know to put on the 1LEs i would have to take apart the axle or something like that, i know its not a 10 minute job.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!

If I had them laying around, I would definately take the time and install them. 1LE's are alot better caliper than the iron ones.
They provide a larger and smoother pad-to-rotor contact surface that will give you much better pedal feel/control for performance driving.
