What next?
So I spent the last couple hours doing lots of work to the car. I put a new Spohn Adj. Panhard bar and LCA's in. I changed the endlinks on both sway bars to poly and put new brakes, rotors and bearings in.
I had been running QuietStop pads for the last 18 months, and as much as I liked the no-dust/no-squeak i disliked the stopping power. This time I followed the recommendations and got Perfromance Friction z-rated pads. I was hoping for better stopping. It's still unable to lock the fronts at all. It stopped a little better after I ran the brakes for 5-10 minutes but still not anywhere near what I would like. It feels as though the system isn't as responsive as it could be.
So, like the topic says, whats next? Do I order braided stainless lines and bleed the snot out of the system, or do I start saving for a Baer upgrade set?
The pedal has decent feel all the way down, not like there's air in the lines or some sort of booster problem. I'm just thinking the pedal shouldn't go to the floor. Don't get me wrong, I slow down, and I've definitely driven cars with worse brakes, I just think there is more to be had.
I did not get cross drilled and/or slotted rotors, should I?
I presume that a booster/master cylinder change is not something I would want to do, has someone here done it?
The car is a 91 T/A with the disk/drum setup.
TIA!

i personally would save up for the Bear kit. as long as the brakes are safe, and stop, i would just save the money. it's no secret that are cars don't stop that well, no sense trying to improve the bad, when you can buy the good. right? just my .02
