Do you plan on installing the LE front brake package any time soon? If so you might want to do the swap at that time. Then you could use the 1LE prop valve and save some expense by only needing one valve.

Thanx,ANDYZ28

All you will need in additional parts are the Proportioning Valve and the Parking Brake Cables for a BW 9-bolt. Otherwise its a straight forward swap. I hope you have the 89 9-bolt, because that was the year for the 11.655 rotors the Alum, PBR calipers.
Good luck.

i dont think its a BW and im not sure of the year. im getting it from a buddy of mine soon. i dont plan on doing the 1LE. the only reason im doing this one is because it kinda fell into my lap.
whats the best way to get the prop. valve that i will need? should i get an OE replacement from an auto pars store or is it an OK junkyard part? thanx guys.

Best to wait and identifly the rear you are getting then think about what parts you will need. My opinion.

Just the parts I quoted before. But check the brakes out, rotors, pads and calipers. I can not say the early BW had the same disc problems as the 10-bolt brakes. Someone else may have a answer for this.

Rear calipers tend to not adjust right which in turn doesn't allow them to fully engage the rotor which = crappy rear brakes. You can rebuild the rear calipers with a recall kit and it will take care of the problem. I just said the hell with it and found an '89 rearend, and also went to 1LEs....WAHOO!!
