Cracked Rim and bent rear end, pix inside!

Hey guys,
I was driving one day and i did a 180 and drove the front up a curb and the back tire slammed up against the curb. The axle was bent in and now is fixed, and the rim is destroyed, just thought I'd show u pix of my messed up rim.

How fast were you going? I curbed my rear pass rim pretty bad one time drifting. Hit the curb at around 35 mph. The rim didnt crack and the axle was fine. Just wondering how far I can push it next time before major damage occurs heheh.

This hit head on and I when I was going straight musta been going about 30 before the car 180'd. THis slammed right up against the curb at full force, maybe yours hit differently.

At least it did not come off the lugs!! BTW never try to drift a 1980 sunbird. I'm in the middle of it and next thing I know I'm on my front rotor. Looked in my rearview mirror and saw my tire bouncing down the road. Stopped the car got out and went to check out the damage. To my suprise all of the lug nuts were still on the lugs. I'm like, ok... went and got the wheel, there were 4 holes about an 1 1/2" wide where the lugs used to be!! I decided to get a new car after that.

Thats pretty funny, never knew they made Sunbirds back in 1980. I was thinking about it today, and I was wondering how them lugnuts survived the crash. Guess I have a damn good built car, those lugnuts will hold the next rim on there too!
