Noise in front left when braking

It only seems to occur once it starts getting hot. Besides the brake squeeling (which I'm surprised since the front brake/rotor/caliper were replaced not to long ago), when I brake I hear a noise kind of like something hit metal, and I can feel it in my braking foot. What is causing this? It doesn't do it when the car is cool.

cheap pads? i had that happen on my good car after i replaced pads and rotors, nothing wrong it just sounds bad. did you use the anti noise anti vibration stuff on the backs of the pads? it might help.
