I need to buy a bottle of this GM friction modifier/additive for my BW 9-bolt rearend in my '89 IROC, but I can't find the GM part number for it. I've spent the past half-hour doing searches on ThirdGen and Google and can't find it. I need either the part number (I've seen it on here before) for that additive, or a link to the page on gmpartsdirect.com so that I can order a bottle of this stuff.

if you never you should of looked under "vehicle care" that's what it says on every bottle i have here. sounds like it ought to be wax or something.

Most GM dealerships should carry it at the parts counter. IIRC a bottle is only $10.

It beats paying shipping at gmpartsdirect.com.

 

last one i bought was less than 6 dollars

 

$7.21 plus tax yesterday at my local Pontiac/Buick dealer.
