Anyone have Global West Springs(S-9)?
What is the ride like? Also how is the fender gap, any pictures would help out a lot. Overall how do you like them? Lastly which shocks are you using? Thanks
I believe those are their semi competition fronts?
If so that is what I'm running. Really the only reason I bought them is because I purchased a whole suspension package from them. Drop was about an inch maybe, 1.5. GW is not a believer in getting the car really low. I was told the springs are 790 in. lb but then heard later there may be some fudging, because Doug the main guy at GW likes to get secretive. I was quoted 725. So I assume they're about 750 may get them checked some day. If I purchase springs again I will go to Afco etc. so there is no guessing as to what I have. The car is mostly driven on road courses though some on the street a while back. It is rougher than stock, but you really have to experience it to know what a car's 'ride' is really like. I have Koni yellows usually on the softest setting. i also have solid (aluminum) bushings. They will really help get your attention when hitting imperfections in the road. My opinion is that the spring rate is about as high as you should go for a street car. The whole package with this rate is too harsh, again IMO.

Christobal, did you also get thier rear springs also? Do they have any drop in them? So far they sound like what I'm interested in. Thanks for all the info.
Yes,
I believe they are called the s139? Softest of the available is what I chose. Drop again, is about an inch maybe a bit more. Quoted 165 in. lb. I have road raced without a rear sway bar and with the factory bar on an 88 GTA. Can't recall the diameter, maybe .80 inch?, anyhow the car performs well in either config, just differently.
