please HELP!!!!!!

Friday night at the track my 3.42 open rear from my old Camaro i had decided to spin both back tires for some odd ball reason well to make a long story short when i left the line it spun both back tires and it had EXTREMLY bad wheel hop what is causing this

BTW the tranny mount is not broke i checked that the second time it hopped

is it time for aftermarket control arms, drag shocks, and a new panhard rod?

i bought lakewood rear control arms and that fixed my wheel hop on my 1988 iroc-z 5.7... also make sure your torque arm bushing is in good shape..

No bud - those are the lower control arms. The torque arm runs alongside the driveshaft from the tranny to the rear end.

The panhard rod runs perpendicular to the length of the car and behind the axle. It helps keep it in the center. Suggestion, go out and get a Haynes or Chiltons manual and spend a night reading it. It'll really get you up to speed on your basic parts.

I'll suggest relocation brackets from Steve Spohn (link at the top) as the best solution to your wheel hop but they aren't an easy upgrade so get aquainted with the workings of your car!
