Rear Caliper question

Alright cars is all driving fine. But iv noticed this morning when i went out to the car that the back passenger tire had fluid around it. Long story short brake fluid leak. Im low on fluid now, and upon inspection, where the hose screws into the caliper is leaking so my question is, caliper bad or just the brake hose line? What the general conseus for everyone, change caliper or just hose. Thanks for the information people i apprciate it. Ill check back with you all soon.

Drum or disc?

If they're drum it doesn't have calipers, it has wheel cylinders. New ones are about $12-15. No reason not to replace them whenever you're there anyway.

The leak is probably the line.

Whatever you do to one side, do the same to the other side.

DISC

its disc thats why im asking if i change the caliper or just the line. If ones easier to do then the other for the price difference. new Caliper is 39.99 hose is 19.99. Iv changed calipers on other cars i know how to do it, im just curious if the caliper is bad causing the leak or if the hose is bad causing the leak and if not truely sure should i just change both? the caliper comes with the hose thats why im asking. thnaks for the help guys.

Well if a caliper and hose is $40 and a hose alone is $20, then a caliper is really only $20 also, isn't it?

For that little money, again, just replace it. Beats worrying about it, or buying the hose and then having the bleeder screw break off when you go to bleed it and then have to buy the caliper and another hose you then can't use... that would be my kind of luck.

Caliper Price

Where are you getting rear calipers for $40 I have a 92 camaro with rear disc and the lowest price I can find is $70 a piece on top of that the rotors are $60 a piece thats from discount auto parts!
Anyways I need a complete rear brake overhaul anyhow.
