How does a locker effect limited slip?

It's actually for a 4X4, but all of the 4x4 message boards are worthless.

I have limited slip and am considering throwing a locker in there. I obviously have zero experience messing around with the differentials, so please enlighten me.

When the locker is NOT engaged will I be running the limited slip I have now?

are you talking about a powertrax or a detroit locker or one of those air lockups for trucks? regardless they will replace your limited slip. a lockerwill ratchet around corners and lockup on the straight aways.

Craig,

Yeah, like a Detroit locker.

That's what I was curious about.

You've answered my question.

I find that jeep guys don't like us who own big broncos or big blazers.
