good luck finding them for $60 a tire.
I have used two types on my truck which uses the same 225/60R15 as a camaro and this is what i can tell you.
Firestone Blizzak.....great snow tire definate improvement. ~~$87 a tire
Bridgestone Dueller--this is their new snow tire that I just bought this year, although we've only had 3 snows they hook up just as well if not better than the Blizzaks, although a higher price.~~$92 a tire, mounted, balanced, and disposal of old tires.
One more note....they don't last long so you can't use them year round....thus why they're "snow tires only"

AJ have you ever used the kumho? My tire guy told me that they weren't as good in the snow, and to just spend the extra cash. Although I do understand the guy originally stated $60 a tire and i'm not trying to get into a pissing contest.
I am quite sure any snow tire would be better than all seasons so if that's your budget then i'd go with them.
just my .02

Here's an example: I'm sure you've seen monster trucks crush cars. Have you ever seen them bolt the dual-wheels to Bigfoot? With the 8 huge tires, the thing doesn't even crush the roofs in on the cars because the weight is spread out so much.

I just weny through this, i mounted 4 snow tires on my 84 15" z28 rims. i bought 4 firestone winterfire tires from tire rack. I got them for about 64 bucks apiece. In the case of snow tires taller and narrower are better, I went with a 215/65-15 and i'm very happy. they don't make the firestones in 225/60 which is what i wanted. You could get brigstone blizzacks for about 85 a piece in that size. After looking through the tire rack owner surveys and there ratings i chose the winterfire. it beats the blizzack in everything but snow where it loses by .3 points, its cheaper too. you must use these newer snow tires in sets of 4. we just had a christmas blizzard here in NY and i got my first test. I love them!!! what an incredible difference, i could out run FWD cars with all season tires, they really bite and seem to handle too ( in the snow). I feel confident driving in snow where i used to be really scared ( i run AVS intermedites normally ). in normal driving, they aren't AVS's but they are pleasant enough to drive, they are fairly responsive and have good traction in the dry, they are a lot of fun in the wet. They don't break away like a High perf street tire, they continue to bite even when spinning. I highly reccomend them, its fun to drive in the snow now!!
