coil over

I wanted to convert my suspension to coil over front and back. what's the difference between coil over and macpherson struts? can someone enlighten me on whether or not this can be done?

Macphearson is pretty much what our cars have. Where the strut and the spring are seperate. As for the front its very easy to convert. YOu can buy the kit from PA racing, Roadtech, or a few other companies. All you really have to do is take out the strut and put in the coil over and what not. As for the rear....your gonna have to do alot of modifying to make that one work good. I dont know if you'd consider the work worth it.
