new suspension parts
I plan on gettin new lca, panhard bar, and torque arm, do i need to get adjustable one or, one length ones, what are the advantages if any, my car is a daily driver if you need to know.
Adjustable units will always allow you to set the suspension alignment and geometry properly. This will allow for future modifications to the suspension and ride height. It is worth the little extra money to have them just in case they are needed- once you buy non-adjustable units and realize something is not lined up, you've wasted your money and will have to reinvest the entire sum on adj. ones.
I needed the adjustments on my car, had to shorten the lca's and panhard and had to crank up the pinion angle because of the lowered stance. with stock length lca's the higher pinion angle combined with relocation brackets rotated the axle backwards extending the wheelbase. The adj lca's enabled me to move the axle forward to the original wheelbase and thus preventing the rear springs from rubbing in the cans. If I ever raise things up on lower things more, I always have the options too via adjustments.
