Seek Smoother Ride...Suggestions Come Right In

As you guys know, the thirgen is hella bumpy, at whatever speeds. Sometimes, those fuked up roads just seem to make life hell in a third gen, or driving in general. I was curious to know if new shocks make that much of a difference. I just got new tires today and the thing is very solid and smooth. But perhaps new shocks would be the solution?

Would a simple pair of Monroe shocks be suitable?

Also, for people who had someone else do it, ball park price range?

Thanks guys, Eric

What kind of Car is it? If it's a Z/28-IROC it's going to have a harsh ride because of the springs, you could get springs for a reg. RS and improve the ride, My RS rides good and smooth till I hit a sharp bump. If your car doesn't keep bouncing after bumps you don't need new shocks, new shocks will make the ride even harsher, but it will handle better.

Want a smooth ride then buy a Mustang, just being funny. IROC's & Z-28"s are well noted for there hard and firm ride. This is what make them such a well handling car on good pavement and like crap on a rough one. Learn to live with it or do as indicated in the first statement. Your idea about using softer shocks & structs would upset the car's handling, my opinion.
