Rear 4th gen shocks?

These bolt directly into a 3rd gen right? And they are bilsteins under a GM sticker? Well I am thinking of getting some from down the road and just wondering if there is a noticeable difference over the stock ones with just those int here? Does it matter if struts are stock but the rears are these out of a 4th gen?

Yea the rear suspension of hte 3rd and 4th gen are exactly the same. As for the struts being performance ones? ummm...I'd say probably not unless their off of a SS or a 1LE. But considering thaty their probably in better condition then your 20 year old shocks that you have now. Then you would notice a difference.

I was wondering the same myself, are the 4th gen struts the same as the 3rd gens?

There seems to be a lot of people who can't drive f-bods in Florida without ramming into something, so parts are plentiful down here.

4th gen front and rear shock and struts are USUALLY DeCarbon. I don't know if and when they get upgrades to Bilstein.

SLP sells the rear DeCarbons for $25/pr...but they get $25 to ship them to ya.

4th gens don't have front struts. They have upper and lower LCA's so they use a regular shock.

I believe that the Z28's and higher come with Bilsteins all around.

Even with shipping that seems like a killer deal, we put some rear shocks off a '01 SS onto my friends IROC, they fit really well but didn't notice any difference in ride though.
