Better handling
The cons:
Slightly more road noise and vibration transfered to the body. Personally, I doubt you'll notice it much.
The main question you need to ask yourself is "What do I want my car to do?"
If you want it to handle and perform better, then poly is the way to go. If you just want a cruiser, then stick with rubber bushings.

As for suspension bind – Yes, since the poly bushings are much stiffer they will tend to cause bind in hard cornering situations. This is why some people, including myself, run a combination of poly bushings and heim joints.
