Does this detoriate ride quality??
What are pros/cons?

The pros:
Better handling

The cons:
Slightly more road noise and vibration transfered to the body. Personally, I doubt you'll notice it much.

The main question you need to ask yourself is "What do I want my car to do?"

If you want it to handle and perform better, then poly is the way to go. If you just want a cruiser, then stick with rubber bushings.

in most locations poly is the way to go, it seems.

I have read where poly will cause alot of bind in the suspension and squeeek.

If you keep poly bushings properly lubed, then they won't squeak.

As for suspension bind – Yes, since the poly bushings are much stiffer they will tend to cause bind in hard cornering situations. This is why some people, including myself, run a combination of poly bushings and heim joints.

i say poly. just a bit stiffer but better handling. it's worth doing.
