Offset of 16x8 lace/mesh/honeycomb wheels
Offset of 16x8 lace/mesh/honeycomb wheels
I'm in the process of converting the rear of my Fiero to use the 5x4 3/4" bolt circle. I have 16x6 mesh wheels from a Chrsysler LeBaron on the front, and the closest looking 5x4 3/4" wheels are the F-body 16x8 mesh wheels (GTA?). I'd like to use a pair of these, but I need to know if they'll fit first. What are the offsets these wheels use?
16x8 wheels on a 3rd gen (OEM) would be +0mm front and +16mm rear. You can verify this on this website:

Good luck!

The rears have more backspacing than the fronts, then... Hmm.... That's the opposite of what I expected. I'll do some measuring, but I don't think that +16 is enough for my application. Darn.

If you need a set of wheels that fit, but cant find any, you can order a set of wheels custom made for your application. Boyd Coddington will make a wheel with whatever bolt pattern, backspacing, or offset you need. If you like any of the styles of wheels they make, then you should be set. They aren't too expensive either. Not as cheap as OEM wheels, but well worth the $$. I went with them when i wanted a bigger than normal size wheel (18") for a car that dosnt have many big wheel choices (3rd gen f-body). Boyd was able to hook me up with a set of 18's custom made to fit a 3rd gen. I'll be going with them again for any wheel needs I have.
