Tire Question
I didnt really know what forum to post this in but here it goes
Whats the widest size tire you can fit on stock GTA rim
Whats the widest size tire you can fit on stock GTA rim
assuming that it's a 16x8 rim i woldn't go larger than a 255.
a 255/45 or 50 is a decent 16" size tire.
i really like the 245/50 i had on my old 16" tire.....if you go to large you'll over do it and not only ruin the handling but cause a large sidewall to "buldge"
good luck....

the 255 will fit just fine but their gonna buldge a bit. And yea 295 is around the fattest you can put on the rim. But I dont really suggest that size if your into taking turns...for drag it may be okay though.
If your going for handling remember that just cause a tire is wider it doesnt mean it'll make you handle any better. If the tire is to large for a rim it will atcually hurt your handling. I used to have 255 on the rear and in my opinion it didnt look to good. buldged to much...after I switched back to the 245 I noticed that the rear didnt feel so mushy.
