Got a ? for u all

Howdy,

I just rebuit my front end with all new parts, springs, poly bushings, ball joints and tierod ends, but now I have a poping noise. Sounds like a bad ball joint or a bad a-arm bushing. What could it be? Do poly bushings pop? Than ks for your help.

Did you put in upper strut mounts? If not, a post a couple of weeks ago had Steve Spohn saying that the USM has a bearing that dries out, it might be in a bind or something to.

Did you have it aligned since you finished the install?

Remove the pressure from the ball joints by jacking under the A arm (one at a time). Then grease the lower ball joint. While in the air can also turn the wheels full left, grease, full right, more grease.

Lower car and test drive.

RBob.

Did not change the strut mount but will get some on order today.
Sound is not coming from the upper mount. It sounds lower and I can feel it in the steering wheel. I greased them up when I placed them but will try it like RBob posted.
