wonderbar + drag racing = ?

Will i notice a difference if I put the wonderbar on a mostly drag suspensioned vehicle? Is there a strength related reason to put it on?

The car has sub frames and a cage.

Hmmm...I'm kinda saying no...when I put on the wonderbar I didnt notice really any difference in launching or anything like that. I did notice a difference though when I was flying around a turn.

Yeah with solid end-linked swaybar, drag springs and Lakewood drag shock/struts...I am not going to be flying around any corners intentionally.

That's a good question. Some people remove the front sway bar for drag racing. I'm also wondering if the Wonder Bar has any effect.

I doubt it. The reason the swaybar has an effect is because it ties the suspension to the frame. When you disconnect it it allows the weight to transfer to the back of the car quicker and gives you better traction. It also gets rid of some weight but I dont think that is as big of an issue.

The wonderbar just attatches both sides of the frame to strenthen it. The only benifit of not having it would be the weight which isnt very much.

it won't make any diference...all it is is a strut tower brace at the bottom of the suspension/steering system instead of at the top. nothing at all to do with weught transfer, etc.

I was thinking more on the lines if the car pulls the wheels, the shock of one coming down before the other or stuff like that.

I guess not though.
