Wheellies and the like

Just wondering, I know that you can get the front wheels up with good traction, and I was wondering what suspention mods that consisted of...? I have nearly 300hp, and I have the Hotchkis panhard rod and the LCA's. What else is recommended?\

Also, post some pics of your suspention setup, so I can make sure I did mine right!

a very high stall converter and big gears and a set of wrinkling sidewall slicks.

If you can manage to get about 22,000 ft-lbs or so of torque to the ground you could probably do it.

New question: Can you do it with a standard? I never thought of that!

I don't see why not, but with a T5 you might be looking at breaking it first.

One trick I heard is upgrading the rear suspension only, leave the fronts stock. And remove the front sway bar (and wonderbar if you have one). If you're doing it with manual trans, either get the T-5 rebuilt with some hardcore parts or get a stronger trans. Same with the rear.

dont want to be a jerk but that would mean you would be pushing 1700 at the fly with that much you should be able to make it due a back flip if you want

Traction lift bars, giant rear tires (slicks), soft rear shocks, 90/10 front shocks, narrow front wheels ('skinnys', weight reduction), subframe connectors, high stall torque convertor, transbrake or roll control, soft front springs...

Thats all i can think of off the top of my head, and dont forget all the torque you'd need to do it. I'm sure there's plenty of other stuff though...
