^ Wanna suspension lift ^

I know this is opposite direction than most of you want to go, but I want to raise my susp. perhaps an inch or two. I'm hooked on RallyCross (for those who don't know, it is SCCA's version of autocross on unpaved surfaces - usally a bumpy-d-bump cow pasture). I had more fun last Saturday rallying than drag or autocross. I did however lose my exhaust. I need some stiff springs that will raise the car.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Joey

buy a subaru? our cars were at no point, ever thought of as rally cars, they were not designed for anything near it, i strongly recommend you sell your car to someone who will use it more appropriately and buy a car geared in the direction of rally racing, no joke.

once option might be to get the ground control adjustable ride height kit, and then customer order springs that are longer than stock, and you will probably not want to stiff of a spring. the other thing to remeber, is that your shocks/struts only go out so far, so if you go too high, you are going to have to find some longer than stock struts/shocks. the shocks should be easy, but finding thirdgen struts that are longer than stock may be hard.

I do agree with you to a certain point. An AWD Subie would be far more competitive. However that'd be too easy. Plus I have the 'race what you got' mentality. I bought this car new and do not plan on ever selling it rally or no rally. There is an '87 V6 Camaro that rallies here as well. The 1st gen Camaro's (along with Plymouth Barracuda's) where rallied quite often way back when. The SCCA Group 5 ClubRally champion for the last two consecative years has driven an early 90's 600 hp Mustang.

Not the most commen, but it can (and has) been done.

Maybe I should trade the Z28 for a RALLY Sport Camaro
