I want to lift!!!

I got SAE 343rwhp/450rwtq. Stock suspension and about a 1700 stall converter. With dragradials it looks like my car is gonna lift. It launches damn hard. My question is what do I need to get this car 2-3 inches off the ground. I hear its all in the suspension, and this is a d.d so I dont want a 4000 stall or anything like that. Where should I start guys? I think a wheelstanding daily driver is the coolest thing in the world, next to flame throwers out your exhaust.

Take as much weight out of the front of the car and have all your friend stand on the rear bumped and it might happen.

I have a 406 in my car. It was wounded when at the track but pulled 1.6x 60' times on slicks. With a 3000 stall in a 700r4 with the deep first gear, front skinnies, no front sway bar, lakewood drag struts up front and drag shocks out back and 4.11 gears it didn't pull the tires up more than 1/4 inch.

To get a couple of inches up with that power you mentioned, you are going to have to concentrate on weight reduction in the front and ideal weight transfer. Can be done but how streetable do you want to keep it?

1/4 of an inch thats it?!?! Damn. That 406 probabbly made a lot of torque too. Well it might not happen with this car then. Its got to stay
streetable and drag struts and skinnies probablly arent in my future anytime soon. I was hoping it was as simple as slicks/ SFC's/ and a high stall. I assumed the torque was there but I guess I just need more.

Yank the sway bar in front to start with. Add a set Moroso drag springs. Some sticky tires and a big stall and you might see some air under the fronts. But you also need to be able to plant that power. What kinda rear suspension do you have? The only way your gonna see daylight under those fronts is if you can plant all that torque.

My guess is even if you do manage to hook that 10 bolt and 700R4 are gonna let go. My guess is if you were trying to do this on the cheap it won't be.
