Poly Bushings

I need pushing all around... Tranny mount, torque arm, front and rear swaybar. I have heard that the poly bushing are too hard and cause a lot of sweaks and rattles. Anyone had problems with them. Should I just get the rubber bushings?

I've got all poly now, and like em. The only thing that made alot more noise/vibration then before was the poly tranny mount.. Lowering the crossmember with some washers helped a bunch. I may need to go further yet.

It does stiffen things up so there may be a bit more noise associated. But hey, you are driving a thirdgen so what's another squeek or rattle!

IMHO, the performance gain more than offsets any minor increase in noise.

I love em. the noise increase from the tranny mount was barely noticeable, and I put plenty of grease on the sway bar mounts, so they don't squeak at all. I have yet to put the engine mounts in, which I think will cause the most noise increase.

I didn't notice any noise from the ES poly Engine Mounts, and I drive with my windows down alot, and that was before I had loud exhaust.

Just my HO.
