Where to install the Line Lock?
I purchased a line lock solenoid on ebay and I am told that you put it in line with the front brake lines to hold the pressure in those lines while you let go of the pedal and do a burnout.
BUT - When i looked in my car there is a brake line going to each front wheel (2 lines from the resorvoir/diverter), so do I need two solenoids or what?? Is a tee the way to go??
Anybody ever done this before??? Please help..
Thanks!!

For the front line lock yes you do need a tee as that'll tie the front lines together on the sides and then the line lock will plug into the top, if running a rear line lock it just gets plumbed in-line. I mounted both my line locks on the drivers front fender near the MC, you'll either have to get adapters-if they have them in your area- or cut off the metric ends and install standard flare fittings on the brake lines them selves like I had to since the car has the bubble flares and the line lock will have standard. Pretty easy to do.

Thanks for the info. I finally found the PDF instructions for the Hurst unit. It's under the Mr. Gasket website, if anybody wants to know.
Oh by the way - I learned an important lesson yesterday - Don't do burnouts on gravel unless you plan on completely destroying your tires!!!! Gravel is much more vicious on your tires than pavement - But it did seem to make more smoke....
Thanks again
