Brakes nightmare..please help...

I went a little too long on my front brake pads and went down to the metal on them, but caught it in time and the rotors seem fine. A day before I changed out the brakes, the pedal started to be able to travel all the way down to the floor, and only the back passenger side wheel is doing any braking.
Master cylinder looks like it sucked some air since the pads were so far down.
Swapped out the pads last night, pushed the pistons back into place, so some fluid came back into the m/c. Topped off the fluid and bled the m/c and still the pedal goes to the floor. I think the rear drivers wheel might have a leaky piston. It also might be the m/c because I know it prolly sucked air and I hear thats not good at all for them.
I've never operated on drum brakes, but I need to replace the wheel piston, is it a big PITA? Any other ideas?
My friend whos a mechanic said it might also be the proportioning valve, whats the chances of that? I'll be replacing the master cylinder tonight...I think that will help.

Rear drums are not that tough..changing a wheel cylinder is very easy...just playing with the springs and what not can be a pita..but take your time and enjoy yourself..also sounds like a goodtime to change your master cylinder. lata

all hoses are good?

my problem was quite as bad as all the brakes worked however the lines were rather worn and my pedal would go to the floor very easily. replaced them with a braided kit from earl's and it worked beautifully.

good luck.
