Rear suspension VS Radials = Damage

From idle, if I floor it, my tires hook and I hear a loud thunk. It's coming from the right rear of the car. I've visually inspected just quickly and didn't see anything wrong with my LCA & sway bar rod end.

Also, it wouldn't be a tranny or motor mount, I'd feel that in my shifter.

It only makes the loud thump when I floor it from a stop or if I bounce my car real hard in first gear. Big bumps don't make it thunk either.

Any ideas? Tomorrow morning I'll get her up in the air and start looking.

well i would suspect wheel hopping, casued from maybe bad bushings in the lca's, possible lose rear shock or it being blown.

No wheel hop, LCA bushings are good and new.

My car hooks like a mother f'er, it actually hooks better now with whatever broke lol.

I'm waiting for it to cool down a bit so I can crawl under and find out what I broke.

I would check the torqure arm mount at the trans, the top bolt could have come loose allowing the torque arm to slam up against the floor.

Damn! I just dropped her off the jacks about 10 minutes ago and cleaned my driveway lol.

Looks like I'll have to do that tomorrow morning.

Now that I've listened to the sound more, it sounds more like something is hitting the floor. My GF said she feels the thump under her.

Check the driveshaft for freeplay in the U-Joints. If that's solid then check out the torque arm mount and trans mount. I'd also say while you're under the car to give everything a good once over to make sure everything is where it belongs and still bolted together.
