No wheel hop....no traction either!

Well, even since i have lowered my car I have not have wheel hop. But the thing is, the tires don't want to bite either. My e.t.'s are 2-3 tenths quicker when I really launch the car and let the tires spin, then they catch at about 4500 rpm and I shift at 5500. If I ease the clutch out, it's slower, but the tires aren't spinning.

What to do? I know you guys will say LCA relocation brackets and LCA's but is that really gonna plant the tires that much harder? I mean I'd like some #'s here. LCA's, brackets, and the labor to weld the brackets in will bring me to at least 150 bucks. I want' to know if it will be worth it, in tenths.

Is there anyone out there who ran mid 14's and then installed these parts? What was the e.t. reduction?

I almost think some drag radials will be more worth it but apparently they cost more and don't last as long as radials.

I have the pabhard rod already, so maybe I can start with the LCA's and if they don't work maybe some brackets.

What is the motor/trans/rear setup in your car? Also: is it lowered at all?

Dude, really invest in a set of LCA's..alone should plant them well and you can save your money on going all out with suspension parts.
