Silly question..Possible to slot your own brake rotors?

Silly question..Possible to slot your own brake rotors?

Have you guys heard of anyone doing this? I have access to a CNC mill, and it would seem simple enough to slot rotors with a 2 flute end mill and lots of oil to cool it off? I'd measure something like a powerslot rotor and try to copy that.

Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.27, 3.27
If you don't have access to a CNC it can be done with an indexing rotary table. Minimal benefit, aside from the "looks cool" factor.

I know a guy who tried to make his own "cross-drilled" brake rotors using a drill press. He broke one of the rotors in half the second day.

Yeah, I was really just aiming for the looks cool factor, didn't expect much of a performance increase.
