messed up chassis

I have a buddy who had his chassis cracked right by the steering box on an 86 TA 305, non T Top, non WS6, and he had is welded up and clamped off, and was wondering would a subframe connector give it better stability, and what other mods would help stiffen it up where it was cracked. It was professionally done and realigned properly also so its not a slap job either. Also if one of the front swaybar mounts were broke which it is and needs to be replaced would it make a REAL big difference to his handling because it is all over the road right now, and rolls like a boat.

Do a search for the wonderbar and get one of those, this is supposed to help strengthen that area. The sway bar mount being broken will make the car feel like it is all over the road. Once you hook it up it feel 10 times better.

SFC are a good thing to have, but for this you need a wonder bar, or even a home made brace like a wonder bar.

Agreed, get yourself a wonderbar, also known as a..... steering box brace! True story.
