rear brake upgrade help

i have a 85 trans am with ws6 and the 9 bolt rear. The car has 52000 miles and isnt driven in the winter. The rear brakes have froze up again and i would like to upgrade to the 12 inch rotors from the 89-92 cars. I read the tech thing on this page and it only told me the parts i needed , is their any trick to doing it, i dont drive the car every day , usually 1 or 2 a week if its nice, so down time isnt a big deal and i also have a garage. does everything just bolt in or whats the deal. I need some help guys and gals.Pm me or leave some messages , i need help , i really need some rear brakes. thanks

Since the 9 bolt doesn't use c-clips like a 10 bolt, you will need the backing plate for 9 bolt with the PBR calipers. The 89-92 10 bolt backing plate will not work. Problem is the 9 bolt backing plate was only offered 1 year and the dealer no longer carries them.
